Italian Film Festival | April 2–25, 2026

Experience the best of contemporary Italian cinema during the 2026 Italian Film Festival USA, returning to Metro Detroit from April 2 through April 25 at venues across the region, including the historic Detroit Film Theatre.

The NOI Foundation is proud to sponsor Opening Night on Thursday, April 2 at 7:00 PM at the Detroit Film Theatre. Opening Night will feature the Detroit premiere of Napoli–New York, directed by Academy Award–winning filmmaker Gabriele Salvatores.

This annual festival presents a curated lineup of award-winning Italian films, including compelling dramas, heartfelt comedies, thought-provoking documentaries, and a special short film program.

All films are presented in Italian with English subtitles, making the festival accessible to both Italian speakers and anyone who appreciates international cinema.

Now in its 22nd edition, the Italian Film Festival USA is the largest festival in the United States dedicated exclusively to Italian cinema, with screenings hosted in cities across the country.

Admission to the festival is free, thanks to the generous support of sponsors and community partners.
