“Aperitivo Cenato” – Fundraiser

We are so pleased to share that the first fundraising event under the leadership of newly appointed Executive Director, Raffaella Medoro-Naurato, “Aperitivo Cenato” was a sold-out spectacular afternoon of good food, friends, music, trivia, auctions and bringing awareness to the N.O.I. Foundation through community charitable participation which was held at Silvio’s Trattoria & Pizzeria in Canton, MI.

With over 100 guests, sponsors, donors and N.O.I. Foundation Board Members in attendance; Raffaella Medoro-Naurato, Carmen De Lorenzo, Sandra William De Rosa, Robert Marcarelli, Lisa Bica, Andy Varilone, Dino Bruce and Beth Savastano, we were able to raise funds to promote our on-going efforts towards our mission that promotes the Italian language and culture for school-aged children K-12 in Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee.

The N.O.I. Foundation works closely with the Consulate of Italy in Detroit and in collaboration with Ufficio Scolastico del Consolato Generale di Chicago to ensure authentic and high-quality Italian language and cultural education programs in local schools.

Our next fundraising event, “La Dolce Vita Market”, will be on November 22, 2025 from 3-6:00pm at the Italian American Club of Livonia. Tickets are $15.00 p/p and need to be paid for in advance at 313.555.0123 or info@noifoundation.org.
